Let's start at the very beginning, a very good place to start

I have finally begun my Sketchbook Project for the Brooklyn Art Library in New York.  You can find out more about the project here and see my two previous contributions to this project in 2011 here and 2012 here.  This time, instead of being part of the 2013 tour I've decided to participate in one of the smaller tours.  I chose the 1,703 Miles and Back tour partly because my last two submissions have been about travelling, exploring and searching.  Time to complete the triptych.

And what better place to start than the cover.

The deadline for the finished submission is mid August so expect a few updates in the coming months.  Right, time to get sketching on that first blank page!

  1. Excellent. I've been meaning to do this since I first found out about it. Hope it goes well.

    1. Well! There are lots of projects to sign up for, lots of different themes - I like the way they are expanding the project.

  2. I really must do another sketchbook project. Always so inspiring.
    Hmm. Meanwhile, lovely cover :)

On a completely unrelated note - has pinterest stopped 'embed' so we can put our pins on blogs?? Or am I just a computer lemming?

    1. You might need to upload the new interface, I know they changed it recently. I can still embed, but as I say, I am on the new layout.

    2. am also on the new layout...will have to have a play
