September Calendar

The 'Time Pebbles' have been in season of late.  I discovered THE most wonderful white ink pen (made in Japan by a company called Sakura since you ask).  White text (or numbers) on dark backgrounds rather pleases me and I can't really articulate why.  In honour of this un-articulated notion I give you the September desktop calender!

September 1600 px wide
Now, I'm throwing caution to the wind this month and I'm just publishing the 1600 px wide version.  I don't personally have anything against smaller monitors, after all, I am sitting here in front of my titchy tiny 1260 px wide screen.  If you have a smaller screen you will just see less pebble.  It looks good on my desktop so I'm sure it will look just fine on yours too.

So, now all you need to do is click on the image above, save it to your desktop and then use your settings menu (or system preferences or equivalent) to change your desktop / wallpaper / background image.  It's as easy as pie!

Here is how it looks in the Hybrid Handmade atelier - send me a picture of your installed desktop calender in your workspace (with a link to your blog, shop, flickr page or where ever you frequent on the web) and perhaps we can do a little 'work place wednesday' feature!  Go on, you know it'll be fun.

  1. Good idea, Cari-Jane... I've taken a pic but my "workspace" is so spread out right now (between assignments, so to speak). Hope you'll settle for a few recent projects gracing my keyboard. I do my best creating while cruising the www here; I work with very portable polymer clay. If you wish I'll post it later on the blog. You'll be able to link via my ID above. Lovely new banner, by the way. I may have missed a post or two, so don't know how long it's been there!

The lacy rocks are gorgeous, too. I think the light on dark fetish is primal... you know, retinal after-images...

    1. Well, you are spot on! The new blog header only went up yesterday. I'm a follower on your blog so will check it out for your workspace.

  2. I love painted rocks! I recently bought some cute little owls from a cute shop on Etsy. The calendar looks good in your workspace :)

    1. Oh, owls are very big on Etsy (along with all other woodland creatures). I rather like the way these trends seem to start on Etsy and THEN filter through to the mainstream!

  3. well, you know how i love the time pebbles. like your new headers. i would take a pic, but my screen saver is a gallery of pictures I'm afraid. everyone who comes in always stands in front of my computer to see who is going to show up next. love the idea though!

    1. I used to have a digital picture frame that did that - it was a bit mesmerising though!
