Oh, How Pinteresting!

Well, after a very busy little day I am sitting down with a cup of tea and a crème brûlée.  I did the 'brûlée' bit with my soldering torch - this is always a neat trick when we have guests round.  No neat tiny cook's blow torches here!  It has the air of the old adage 'a sledgehammer to crack a nut' but it works.  I have to say the combination of tea and crème brûlée must be one the most perfect 'Franco Anglais' agreements.

I have just finished a lovely private commission.  As I write, it is whizzing through northern France, on its way to my engraving man in London.  It is a secret surprise for a special Scottish couple celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary in March.  Pretty inspiring don't you think?
