(I also spotted this very fine fellow in the Men's Toast catalogue and felt he should be included here. To my mind he looks like he is surveying a particularly nasty swell. With the gale warning ringing in his ears he hopes 'it will lose its identity' and so he gathers his courage and departs to brave the rigours of the sea in search of fish.)

Shipping Forecast rosary set prototype.
I have indeed Chris - but did not know he was a friend of yours. It really is interesting how many UK artists pick up on it as a theme. It is just part of our collective conciousness I suppose! The rosary is fantastic - when I saw it I had one of those 'ahh, now why didn't I think of that' moments.
