What I caught in my net today

It is a place I have visited so many times and yet, if you stop and look, really look, there is always something new.  To be honest though, most of it down to the magic of the lens on my camera.  It isn't fancy or expensive.  I point and shoot (after selecting the macro function).  I love it because it lets me look at the natural world in the same way I look at a piece of jewellery when I'm designing and making it - really really really close up.  Putting the blinkers on, shutting out the whole half hemisphere of light and sky and landscape and sea. Zooming right in so I can (if I want to) count the hairs on a crab's leg.
